Holiday Homes
On February 17th, 2017 our first house "Gabelbachskopf" was rented. It has been beautifully renovated and we hope that our guests will feel "welcome" here.
There are 9 spacious cottages in the grounds, some of which can not be rented yet. Once we have renovated these, they can also be rented, we will announce it immediately, when the time comes.
There is room for 8-10 persons in all houses. But even with fewer people it is wonderful to live in the attractive houses.
All houses have a name. The names refer to the mountain peaks in Thuringia and are the original names of the houses when the park was built in 1975. The first house is called "Gabelbachskopf". The other names are: Finsterberg, Sachsenstein, Schmücke, Beerberg, Schneekopf, Dörrkopf, Buchskopf, Bärenkopf, Bettelmannskopf.
We want to give all the houses a bright decor, but with a cozy feeling and warmth. Pets are welcome in the houses. We ask, however, to lodge your dogs with other animals in the park itself. We want to keep the houses smoke free.
Gabelbachskopf
The holiday home "Gabelbachskopf" offers space for up to 8 people. But even with fewer people it is wonderful to stay in this attractive house with a large fenced garden and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Finsterberg
The Finsterberg holiday home is currently our largest house and can accommodate up to 10 people. But even with fewer people it is wonderful to stay in this attractive house with a fenced garden (with sun and a shady terrace) and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Buchskopf
The attractively furnished holiday home "Buchskopf" offers space for up to 6 people. This house, like all the other houses, has a beautiful fenced garden.
Chalet
The chalet was completely renovated in early 2018 and can accommodate 4 adults (possibly another child). The chalet is located in the most beautiful spot of Gehlberg with a fantastic view.
Camping
In addition to the holiday homes, we offer a campsite with private bathrooms.
